This shock helps restore a normal heart rhythm, and sometimes the device provides life-saving intervention when used quickly.
Defibrillators are found all over emergency departments, ambulances, intensive care units, and even operating theatres alike. For Uganda, defibrillators tend to range from around UGX 6,000,000 to UGX 25,000,000, depending on whether the device is manual or automated.
